Platform Door System

This is a microcomputer-controlled electric wheelchair for mobility assistance to the disabled or the aged in order to ease the burden on the person pushing the wheelchair. The microcomputer automatically determines the force exerted on the grip of the wheelchair and starts the motor on an uphill slope to enable the wheelchair to be easily pushed up or automatically applies the brake on a downhill slope to help the wheelchair safely go down.
